Batch Latte

Brew in bulk, and show your coffee regulars a whole latte love!


The Essentials

Ingredients

  • Ice Cubes
  • 12 Espressos
  • 1260ml chilled Alpro Barista drink
  • Optional: 60ml syrup (if you use syrup, reduce the amount of Alpro Barista to 1200ml)

    If you use syrup, reduce the amount of Alpro Barista to 1200ml

Equipment

  • Food-safe 1,5l bottle
  • Espresso machine
  • Jug
  • Bowl

The method: in 3 simple steps

Step 1

Brew the espressos in a jug, put in a bowl of ice to cool.

Step 2

When it’s chilled to 7ºC or cooler, pour the espressos into the bottle, then add the
chilled plant-based drink and the syrup if you’re using it.

Step 3

Reseal the bottle, shake well and keep chilled. Best before date, 5 days after you open the plant based drink.

Bulk Lattes (also known as 'Batch Lattes' or 'Lockdown Lattes’) gives coffee lovers
a way to get the maximum coffee shop fix with minimum contact. Takeaways in
bigger bottles they can serve over ice or reheat at home. This recipe fills a
1,5l bottle, but could easily be scaled up.
