Step 1

  • Prepare your espresso(s) and steam your plant-based drink.

Tulip

Step 2

  • Tilt your cup and create a canvas, like pouring a ‘brown cappuccino’.

  • When the cup is 2/3 full, pause for a moment then pour a white dot close to the front of the cup.

Step 3

  • Add as many dots as you like, keeping an equal distance between each dot. Slowly ‘push’ each new dot towards the previous ones whilst continuing to straighten your cup.

  • After the final dot, lift the pitcher and ‘cut’ through the middle towards the front of the cup to connect all the dots.

Latte

"Accidentally created too much foam? Just pour a little of the excess out of the pitcher before you start pouring your latte."

Barista Notes

Before pouring patterns, start with a little pitcher practice. Pour a 'brown' and a 'white' cappuccino and build up your control – and confidence!
